Our team consists of five members:
Ian Prast - Playtest manager and People gatherer (Arts background)
Kauan Santos - Video data collector and written data collector (Arts Background)
Mara Frota - Vídeo data collector and Cards Drawings(Arts Background)
Ana Costa - Card box Cards creator and play tester supervisor (Arts background)
Tiago Patricio - Written data collector and Game page manager ( Videogames background)
Given that our project is a physical game, our primary focus has been on refining its design rather than the materials used for production. While we do intend to improve the materials eventually, they are not our immediate priority, as the goal of this Game Jam is to create a functional prototype.
Embracing an unconventional approach, we conducted our brainstorming and ideation sessions outdoors, making the most of the sunshine while it lasted. This decision also aligned with our game's physical nature, reinforcing our hands-on creative process.
With five people collaborating on the design, progress was swift. By midday, we had structured a solid prototype, allowing us to dedicate the rest of the day to extensive playtesting. Each test revealed new bugs and areas for improvement, enabling us to refine the game significantly. By the end of the first day, the core gameplay was nearly complete, leaving us with only the task of fine-tuning and polishing the experience as much as possible.
